BASIC Bank opens branch at Jorarganj
The state-owned BASIC Bank Limited opened its 67th branch at Jorarganj in Chittagong fully on online facilities.
Sheikh Abdul Hye Bacchu, Chairman, BASIC Bank Limited, inaugurated the branch as chief guest on Saturday, said a press release.
Fazlus Sobhan, Managing Director, BASIC Bank Limited, presided over.
Deputy Managing Directors, general managers, high officials of the bank and other local elites were present at the function.
While speaking Sheikh Abdul Hye Bacchu, Chairman of the bank said deposit of the bank is fully secured because the bank is cent percent state-owned.
Rupali Bank opens branch in Feni
Rupali Bank Limited recently opened its 525th branch at Darbesher Hat in Feni with online facilities.
Md Neyamat Ullah, General Manager of Rupali Bank Limited inaugurated the branch, said a press release.
Syed Ahmed Chowdhury, General Manager of Comilla divisional office of the bank, Abu Md Sayedur Islam, Business Development Specialist, Anwarul Azim Chowdhury, AGM and Aziz Ahmed Chowdhury, Zilla Parishad Administrator, Feni were present at the function.

HSBC opens office at Uttara EPZ
The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited (HSBC Bangladesh) opened a new business development office at Uttara EPZ in Nilphamari.
This is the 8th business development office of HSBC Bangladesh and with this, HSBC has become the only international bank to be present in all the eight EPZs of Bangladesh, said a press release.
Uttara EPZ, established in 2001, housed a range of diversified exporters.

BASIC Bank opens branch at Ishwarganj
The state-owned BASIC Bank Limited opened its 65th branch at Ishwarganj in Mymensing with online facilities on Saturday.
MA Sattar, MP, Mymensing-8 constituency inaugurated the branch while Sheikh Abdul Hye Bacchu, Chairman, BASIC Bank Limited was present as chief guest, said a press release.
Md Ruhul Alam, General Manager, BASIC Bank, moderated the function where Kazi Faqurul Islam, Managing Director of the bank presided over.
While speaking Sheikh Abdul Hye Bacchu, Chairman, BASIC Bank Limited said people consider BASIC bank as safe as it is wholly owned by the government. As a result, deposits with the bank have increased gradually.

EXIM Bank opens branch in Savar
The 78th branch of Export Import Bank of Bangladesh Limited (EXIM Bank) was inaugurated at Hemayetpur, Savar, Dhaka on Saturday.
