Bank Asia holds workshop

Md. Mehmood Husain, president and managing director of Bank Asia Limited, is seen with the participants of a workshop organised by Consumer Credit Department of the Bank in the city recently.

Bank Asia Limited recently organised a two-day workshop for improving professional efficiency and retail banking skills of its staff in the city. President and managing director of the Bank Md. Mehmood Husain formally inaugurated the workshop, says a press release.

The Bank’s senior executive vice president and chief business officer (SMR) Md. Arfan Ali, executive vice president and manager of principal branch Mohammad Borhanuddin, AVP and head of consumer credit Md. Omar Hayat Chowdhury, and first assistant vice president Md. Forhad Mohammed Masum, among others, were also present at the inaugural function.

A number of 23 assistant relationship officers took part in the workshop organised by Consumer Credit Department of Bank Asia The workshop dealt with the issues like ethics in banking, prospects of consumer credit in Bangladesh, risk management for consumer credit, documentation formalities for house financing, auto loan and other products, control and compliance of consumer credit and motivation factors.
