The 127th meeting of the board of directors of Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) was held at its head office in the city recently.

Mohammad Solaiman, chairman of the board of directors of SJIBL, presided over the meeting, said a press release.

The meeting approved a number of investment proposals and discussed various issues relating to bank’s policy.

Directors Sajjatuz Jumma, Akkasuddin Mollah, Engr. Md. Towhidur Rahman, Anwer Hossain Khan, Mohammad Farooq, Syed Nurul Arefeen, Md. Sanaullah Shahid, Mohammad Hasan, Abdul Halim, Khandoker Sakib Ahmed, Alternate Directors Rukun Uddin Khan and Md. Masud, Managing Director Md. Abdur Rahman Sarker, Additional Managing Director Md. Mukhter Hossain and Deputy Managing Director Md. Abdul Jabber Chowdhury were also present among others at the meeting.
