MM Haikal Hashmi joined IFIC Bank as its deputy managing director and chief risk officer on Monday, said a press release. 

Prior to joining IFIC Bank, Haikal was the DMD and chief risk officer of Trust Bank. 
He started his career as a probationary officer of IFIC Bank in 1986.

He has also worked for Dhaka Bank, Mashreq Bank, American Express Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, ANZ Grindlays Bank and Banque Indosuez at home and abroad.

Shah A Sarwar, Managing Director and CEO of IFIC Bank, and Uzma Chowdhury, Director of PRAN Dairy, exchange documents after signing an MoU at the bank’s head office in Dhaka Sunday.

IFIC Bank Limited signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with PRAN Dairy Limited on extending agriculture loan facilities.

As per the agreement, the suppliers of PRAN Dairy will facilitate with the IFIC Bank’s credit services for purchasing cattle and establish daily farms, said a press release.

Moreover, the dairy company will make payment of the loan installment to IFIC Bank on behalf of the borrowers from their sale proceeds of milk.
